Photographing a childhood friend on their wedding day is like adding another cherry to the already perfect sundae! I (Melba) have known Kathy since 6th grade. We met at Immaculate Conception Catholic School and eventually transitioned to the same high school. As with most childhood friendships, we lost contact throughout our college years. I was so excited when Kathy contacted me through Facebook regarding her wedding day! There were so many beautiful moments waiting to be captured. We think these 2 were a match made in heaven and could not be more excited for their new life together!
Kathy started the day getting ready at her parent's home. They have lived their for more than 25 years. We LOVE their fireplace! The bricks were originally brought over from Georgia by the previous owners.
Kathy looked so beautiful on her wedding day! Look at Adam's face as she walked into the church. That is one happy groom!
Kathy's lovely bridesmaids! These girls love her. :) Beautiful bouquet by Amor Bridal.
We snatched Kathy and Adam after the ceremony to capture some portraits of just them 2! So happy they agreed to do this - not that they really had a choice. :)
Such simple elegance with this spring themed reception. The beautiful cake was designed by Madelyn's Cakes.
They danced to "Beautiful" by Adele ;)
Adam dancing with his mom - made us all tear up!
Loved how Kathy's mom was tenderly looking at Kathy during the "father-daughter dance!"
Susy, Kathy's best friend and Maid of Honor, delivered a beautiful and personal toast to the bride and groom.
DJ Jordan got the crowd going and it was non-stop till the end!
